Gilbert Arenas - or, in all likelihood, someone who isn’t Gilbert Arenas - has written an op-ed in the Washington Post about his poorly considered locker room play-duel with Javaris Crittenton.
The Post suggested on Dec. 31 that I send a message to young fans “about guns being neither glamorous nor desirable.” I am grateful for the opportunity to do something good in the face of the very bad situation I created.
No doubt the youth of DC are avid readers of the WAPO editorial page. I wonder if the season-ticket buying folk this piece is directed at even care about this sort of thing? David Stern, who’s seized on this incident with some zeal, must think so!
